I’m finally doing it. I’ve been wanting to create this post for a long time. I’m from Rochester, NY and have lived here most of my life. I’m so thankful for all of the gluten free restaurants in Rochester, NY.
This list focuses on my 10 favorite gluten free restaurants in Rochester. These restaurants go above and beyond for their gluten free customers. They don’t just plop a salad down on the table for you. They make some amazing gluten free meals that you will love. And bonus, a lot of these restaurants also have incredible dairy free options.
*Please note I have not asked each of these restaurants about their kitchen practices. If you are celiac or need to avoid cross-contamination for other reasons I always suggest calling restaurants ahead of time to ask if they can accommodate for you.

The Red Fern is INCREDIBLE. They are a 100% vegan restaurant. Most of their dishes can also be made gluten free. I’m obsessed with this place. Their gluten free vegan mac n cheese is my favorite. Click here to find their information.
This is a new favorite restaurant of mine. The Playhouse is a cool place for adults to play arcade games. The Swillburger is a little burger joint inside. Their restaurant seems simple but the food is incredible. Almost everything can be made gluten free or vegan. They even have vegan milkshakes which are awesome for us dairy free folks. Harry G’s is an amazing sandwich place. Their sandwiches are loaded with amazing meat and other great flavors. They offer a gluten free sub roll that is so incredible. I wish I could buy this roll to have at home. It’s such a treat to be able to grab a real tasting sandwich. Click here to find their information.
The best thing about Rochester is probably Wegmans. In addition to all the grocery stores, the Wegman’s family owns an amazing fine dining restaurant called Next Door. I don’t eat their often, but every time I do I am so impressed with the way they cater to food allergies. They go above and beyond to ensure your food is safe and enjoyable. Favo Pizza is one of those, walk down the line and pick what you want, restaurants. They have a delicious gluten free crust and a dairy free cheese. You’ll love being able to have a gluten free pizza here. Click here to find their information.

I’m always in the mood for sushi. California Rollin has some really fun Americanized sushi rolls. I’m talking about things like almond butter and smoked salmon. Most of their rolls are gluten free and their menu is careful to specify that for you. Click here to find their information.
Every good meal ends with dessert. That’s why I have to end with my favorite place to get gluten free treats. Scratch Bakeshop makes regular baked goods, gluten free baked goods, and vegan baked goods. I’m obsessed with their gluten free vegan cut-out cookies. Click here to find their information.
