Pie has to be one of the best parts of Thanksgiving. After you’ve stuffed your face with loads of food, there’s always room in your stomach for pie. Just because you are gluten free and dairy free does not mean you have to miss out on a delicious pie. Here are some awesome recipes for some great pies. The Perfect Gluten Free and Vegan Pie Crust Recipe
I don’t know about you, but the crust has always been my favorite part of the pie. I just love a perfectly flaky and buttery crust. Just because I’m gluten free now, does not mean I’m going to settle for anything less than perfect. After much trial and error, I created The Perfect Gluten Free and Vegan Pie Crust. This crust is buttery, flaky, a little bit sweet, and so easy to make and use. For this fool-proof crust recipe click here.
Rolling out the chilled dough. A piece of parchment paper is on the bottom and a piece of plastic wrap is on the top.
I suggest doubling the recipe and keeping two pie crusts wrapped and in your freezer at all times. Then whenever you have pie crust needs you can pull them out and use them. It’s just as easy as having a store-bought crust but so much better.
